Screen Education Edinburgh is absolutely thrilled to announce that our learners’ short film ‘Come Inside’ has been nominated for the 2025 Into Film Awards!

‘Come Inside’ was created as part of our 2024 BFI Film Academy Craft Skills Residential and has been nominated in the Best Film (Age 16–19) category, recognising exceptional work from young filmmakers across the UK.

The touching drama follows a father and his daughter, Mia, as they navigate the challenges of his early-onset dementia diagnosis.

Out of hundreds of entries, ‘Come Inside’ is one of just 24 films shortlisted for this year's Into Film Awards. Huge congratulations to the talented learners involved in the film, this recognition is truly well-deserved for all your hard work and creativity!

Best of luck to our young filmmakers, winners will be announced at the Into Film Awards on the 24th of June at ODEON Luxe Leicester Square, London.
