Now in its 15th year, the competition, led by Screen Education Edinburgh in partnership with Edinburgh Filmhouse, celebrates young filmmaking talent across Edinburgh and the Lothians.

Funded by Screen Scotland and City of Edinburgh Council, it’s free to enter for all nursery, primary, secondary, and special schools in the region.

Shortlisted films will be shown as part of special screening and awards ceremonies at Edinburgh Filmhouse:

• Nursery, Primary & Special: 16th June, 10:30am-12:30pm 

• Secondary: 17th June, 10:30am-12:30pm

Films (made within the last 2 years by current pupils) will be showcased and considered for awards judged by a youth jury.
