We've recently held two Film & TV Inspire Sessions at Edinburgh High Schools.

At Leith Academy, Costume Designer Vivienne Low (One Day, The Lost King) spoke about her experience in the industry and tasked pupils with designing a costume inspired by a character from their favourite film. Pupils enjoyed learning about what jobs and opportunities are available in the Costume Department of the Film and TV industries.

At Portobello High School, Sound Recordist Merlin Bonning (Sing Street, Calvary) took pupils through the technical aspects of the sound department, showing them the different types of equipment and how to use it! Learners also enjoyed hearing from Bonning about how he got into the industry and the variety of productions he's worked on.
