Three New Schools Join Our Through the Lens Programme! Our latest Through the Lens school's projects have started, and following on from projects at Castlebrae, Craigroyston, and Wester Hailes High School's in the first half of the academic year, we’re excited to be working with three new schools for the second half: Leith Academy, and Forrester High School's, and Murrayburn Primary School. Learners have already been diving into a range of hands-on activities, experimenting with camera techniques and exploring different shot sizes. They’ve also been discovering the creative world of sound and foley through playful, practical exercises designed to spark imagination and express their creativity. Over the coming months, each school group will create their own short film, taking part in every stage of the filmmaking process, from story development to designing props and costumes, through to editing. Learners will also work towards an Arts Award qualification, giving each participant the opportunity to gain a recognised award at the end of the course. We’re looking forward to seeing the creativity and confidence that will grow as these projects develop! Manage Cookie Preferences
