Screen Scotland's Summer School for teachers is returning for 2025!

Running from 21 July to 1 August 2025. Hosted at Forth Valley College and delivered by Screen Education Edinburgh, the summer school's an intensive learning experience for teachers to develop the practical skills and knowledge to deliver Screen Scotland’s draft film and screen curriculum.

In week one teachers will work in groups to make a film, learning everything that goes into the filmmaking process. Week two will be a choice of sessions on how to deliver practical classroom exercises, covering early level to level four of the draft curriculum.

Each day will also include a session led by an industry specialist, covering a wide range of industry departments and roles, furthering developing teacher knowledge and understanding.
