Over the last few weeks, learners on our Young Filmmakers Hub programme have been filming numerous productions for their final learning phase of the 2024-25 programme. Each age group created two films, putting the creative skills they've learned over the term into practice.

12-13 age group: 'Heist' is a farcical comedy about a museum robbery gone wrong when one of the burglars shows up in a dinosaur costume.

'Cereal' follows a man who becomes increasingly suspicious that his neighbour may be a 'cereal killer'.

14-15 age group: 'Distant' focuses on a young girl, Jasmine, who is acting withdrawn in her friendship group. When her friends mock a drunk man on the street, Jasmine begs them to stop, but does she know more about this man than she's letting on?

'Thinking Deep' follows two friends, Missy and Terri, out together for a picnic. But tension rises between them when Terri asks an existential question.

16-18 age group: 'Clear Out' is set in a post-apocalyptic world where toxic gas fills the streets. When a survivor, Ryan, notices a pram outside, he rushes out to save the child – even when it means risking his own life.

'Pink Lady' follows a grieving woman, Jane, after her fiancée's death. When Jane reveals that she believes her late partner is still living in their house, her therapist grows concerned.
